Welcome to the Blog for the Midlands Area AMCA Trials Events.

Please feel free to browse through the blog, you will find past results, future trials events and current championship standing.

Within our area we run Fun and Championship Point Scoring round Trials.

Our trials are put on to cater for Modern Trials / Twin shock at the following levels;
Beginner, Non Expert, Clubman, Experts.

We welcome guest riders to any of our trials, but please note if your a guest you cant collect the championship points that are available for 1st, 2nd or 3rd positions that the highest score at the end of the seasons championship wins the championship at the level they ride.

Look out for the team trials, their great fun.

To become an AMCA member you will need to join a local club – please visit our club page to see which one is nearest you. Some clubs have free membership, others charge a very nominal fee (Normally around £10 per Annum).

Once you have joined a club you can apply to the AMCA for a licence which is really easy, give the AMCA a ring, pay the annual fee, job done. you can now compete and collect championship points, from the championship rounds if you finish in the point collection positions.

Championship Points are awarded as follows (for AMCA licence holders only):

1st       15 points

2nd     12 points

3rd      10 points

4th       8 points

5th       6 points

6th       5 points

7th       4 points

8th      3 points

9th      2 points

10th    1 point

You may ride any round of the championship, but the more rounds you ride the more chance you have of winning it overall.

Also note – we do not operate the current FIM rules of “none stop”. although if you wish to ride like this you can, but if you do stop (within the AMCA guidelines) you will not be penalised. So if your loosing interest in your current trials due to the none stop rules, the AMCA  Midlands trials are for you.
